Pastor's Corner
Long ago God spoke to our ancestors in many and various ways by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by a Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom he also created the worlds. Hebrews 1:1-2
There is nothing more powerful than the simple things, the things that have always been since God spoke. In a world where society wishes to redefine, restructure, and restrain what has always been. The sun still rises and sets. The winds still sweeps across the waters and makes the trees dance, and a baby on the way will still change the atmosphere of lives and a home. Christmas can be simply powerful if you know the reason why. The writer of Hebrews explains God sent many prophets who proclaimed holiness, judgment, and the Day of the Lord, but in the last days God sent His Son. This was God’s final work to show His presence and His intent towards the earth. Emmanuel, God with Us! God came in simple fashion, in the weakest form of human life, and yet it’s the little simple things that change everything. Christmas, is the gift of Salvation, a gift that is eternal! May we each have Christmas in our hearts!
With Much Love,
Pastor Chris
